Description: A bill to continue indefinitely the taxes imposed on cigarettes at the rate established in the Tax Equity and Fiscal Responsibility Act of 1982 and to appropriate to the Federal Hospital Insurance Trust Fund amounts equivalent to sums received from the taxes imposed on cigars, cigarettes, and cigarette papers and tubes to the extent such amounts are necessary to meet any deficit in such Trust Fund.
