Description: A bill to amend title II of the Social Security Act to protect the benefit levels of the individuals becoming eligible for benefits in or after 1979 by eliminating the disparity (resulting from changes made in 1977 in the benefit computation formula) between those levels and the benefit levels of persons who became eligible for benefits before 1979; and to remove the ceiling on the amount of an individual's income which can be taken into account in computing his or her benefits and in detemining his or her liability for social security taxes.
